Hello my name is Jessica Jones and I am an intern at Techdesigno learning web design and multimedia. I am also a student attending Essex County College; majoring in New Media Technology. Finishing up at Essex I will have an associates degree in Applied Science. I plan on continuing my studies in graphic design in the near future. One day I plan to have a career in web design, graphic design or advertising.

My skills include demonstrating knowledge of fundamental principles of design and applying them to new media projects;
Utilizing industry-standard software applications and hardware equipment to effectively produce new media projects; and
Demonstrating knowledge of storyboarding, character development, interactivity, and introductory scripting using various computer software platforms.

Some of my hobbies include photography, drawing, painting and using cool photo/video apps. Art has always been a part of my life and I have loved it ever since grade school. Taking art courses at essex has made me realize that not only could i apply my art to canvas but I can apply it to computers and create much more. Not only does computer graphics enhance my skills as a graphic artist but it also boosts my critical thinking.

Being here at Techdesigno is the real life hands on experience needed to flourish outside of school. Learning how to increase my abilities in technology not only helps me but allows me to help someone else. I believe being able to create and control technology is just as fundamental as being able to read and write.
